Client bio

Jordan Barrett is a 6'2", 280-pound professional defensive lineman from Laurel, Mississippi, bringing multiple seasons of professional experience in both the United States and Mexico.

Barrett developed his game at East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi College before beginning his professional career. His experience has included the Mississippi Raiders of the AAL in 2021, Fan Controlled Football in 2022, and the Dinos of Mexico's Liga de Fútbol Americano Profesional (LFA) during the 2023 and 2024 seasons. His performance in Mexico culminated in All-Pro recognition in 2024. After sitting out the 2025 season, Barrett returned to professional competition in arena football in 2026 and continues to pursue opportunities to advance his career.

At 6'2" and 280 pounds, Barrett combines interior size with notable athletic testing numbers, including a reported 4.96-second 40-yard dash, 4.2-second shuttle, and 36-inch vertical. He identifies coachability, leadership, and a strong work ethic among the qualities he brings to a locker room and defensive unit.

Football has required Barrett to adapt to different teams, leagues, styles of play, and even international competition. That experience has strengthened his determination to continue competing professionally and pursuing higher-level opportunities.

Away from football, Barrett works in security and enjoys swimming. He is particularly interested in supporting causes involving at-risk youth, hunger relief, housing and shelter assistance, and mental-health awareness.

Barrett is currently a professional free agent and holds a valid passport, allowing him to be considered for both domestic and international opportunities.

character reference

To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to provide a character reference for Jordan Barrett as he pursues professional opportunities within the game of football.

Jordan Barrett presents himself as a hardworking, coachable, and persistent professional athlete who has continued pursuing his football career through the challenges and uncertainty that come with playing at the professional level.

One of Jordan's strongest qualities is his willingness to work. His career has required him to adapt to multiple football environments, including collegiate football, professional football in the United States, international competition in Mexico, and arena football. Rather than allowing changes in leagues or opportunities to end his pursuit, he has continued preparing for the next opportunity and working toward advancement in the sport.

Jordan identifies coachability and leadership among his greatest strengths. He understands that being a professional athlete involves more than physical ability; it requires accepting instruction, contributing positively within a team environment, remaining accountable, and continuing to develop.

His interests away from football also provide insight into what matters to him personally. Jordan has expressed a desire to support at-risk youth, help feed individuals and families in need, assist those experiencing housing insecurity, and contribute to mental-health causes.

Jordan's professional journey reflects perseverance and a genuine desire to continue earning opportunities through his work. As he pursues the next stage of his football career, he aims to be known not simply for what he contributes on the defensive line, but as someone with good character who can be trusted to work, learn, and represent his team professionally.
