Client bio
Stephen “Dawson” Brown II is a dynamic wide receiver and return specialist from Kennesaw, Georgia, whose speed, versatility, and perseverance have defined a football journey spanning multiple levels of the college game.
A product of Harrison High School, Brown established himself early as an explosive offensive and special-teams threat, recording more than 100 career receptions, approximately 1,600 receiving yards, and 25+ touchdowns. Playing alongside future first-round NFL quarterback Justin Fields, Brown developed as a reliable target and playmaker capable of creating opportunities with the ball in his hands.
Brown began his collegiate career at NCAA Division I FCS program Western Carolina University before continuing at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. In his JUCO season, he recorded 39 receptions for approximately 400 yards and four touchdowns while competing on a roster loaded with future professional talent. He also earned his associate degree in Human Health & Performance.
Brown later joined the University of Alabama at Birmingham before injury and coaching changes altered the trajectory of his time with the program. Rather than allowing those circumstances to end his career, he transitioned to Fort Hays State University, where he completed his collegiate playing career, earned All-MIAA recognition, was voted a team captain, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2023.
At 5'8", 160 pounds, Brown brings legitimate speed and quickness to the field, with testing marks that include a 4.46 laser-timed 40-yard dash, 3.95 shuttle, and a previously recorded 36.5-inch vertical. He offers value as both a receiver and return specialist and prides himself on his route running, ability to create after the catch, and willingness to contribute wherever his team needs him.
Since completing his collegiate career, Brown has received multiple professional opportunities and arena football contract offers while remaining focused on finding the right opportunity to continue his career, particularly in the CFL or international football.
Away from competition, Brown trains young athletes in his community and takes pride in helping developing players improve their skills and confidence. He is passionate about giving back through initiatives supporting youth, hunger relief, poverty reduction, and animal welfare.
Brown describes himself as adaptable, dependable, disciplined, and relentless. His goal is simple: earn an opportunity, make an immediate impact, and use the platform football provides to help the next generation of athletes pursuing their own dreams.
